Anamika Purohit is Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Jai Hind College, Autonomous. She has a Ph.D. in English from the University of Mumbai and specialises in the fields of English literature and Culture Studies. Her doctoral work examines the relationship between the geographical entity of the city-space and the literary entity of the ‘city text’ using spatial criticism as a tool. She has had many research publications in noteworthy journals. Apart from being a researcher, Anamika enjoys creative writing in English as well as Hindi, and has had a few of her creative pieces published in books and on different online platforms. In her free time, she loves to dissect popular music and films.

Oishika Ghosh has completed her Postgraduation with a University Gold Medal, from the Dept of Sociology at Jadavpur University, Kolkata achieving First Class First position. Her research interests include Performance studies, Caste, Gender, and Visual Sociology. She is a classical dance practitioner and a Govt. accredited National Scholar in the field of Kathak dance, Govt of India, Ministry of Culture. Oishika has presented her papers at both International and National Conferences, organized by International Sociological Association (ISA), JNU (CSSP), Indian Sociological Society (ISS), University of Melbourne, World Convention of Finland, Portuguese Congress of Sociology, and Jadavpur University, Kolkata, among others. Oishika had also pursued her course on ‘Tagore and nationalism’ under the direct mentorship of Dr. Ashis Nandy, at the University of California, UC Berkeley. Her pieces have been published on a few academic websites and Journal magazines.

Shyamasri Maji is an Assistant Professor in English at Durgapur Women’s College in West Bengal. She was the recipient of Independent Research fellowship 2018-19 at Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata. She wrote her doctoral thesis on “Anxiety of Representation in Select Anglo-Indian Writers” (Burdwan University, 2018). Her book reviews and articles have been published in reputed journals such as South Asian Review, Indian Literature, Economic & Political Weekly, Asian Review of Books, Antipodes, and Third World Thematics. She writes poems and short stories in English. Her debut collection Forgive Me Dear Papa and Other Poems (Hawakal) was published in December, 2023.

Vidya Hariharan is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of English at SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Sion West for the last 11 years. She has worked in schools and colleges in India and abroad. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies from the University of Mumbai. Her areas of academic interest are Cultural Studies, Spatiality Studies and Ecocriticism.

Maithili Sakhrani is a third year Bachelors’ student at Sophia College (Autonomous), Mumbai. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors in English. Her areas of interest include fandom studies, subaltern studies, and journalism.

Dhruvi Modi is pursuing her PhD in English at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Her academic interests include literary theory and criticism, performance studies, and phenomenology.

Eeshita Saxena is a third-year student at Sophia College (Empowered Autonomous). She is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. She has been a social worker for ten years and is also a freelance language tutor. Her experience has taught her to see things from a different perspective and to incorporate them into her understanding of the world.

Nishtha Dev is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Sophia College for Women, Mumbai and has taught postgraduate courses at SNDT University and K J Somaiya College, Mumbai. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in Indian graphic fiction, and her research interests include Indian literature, Translation studies, Popular culture, and Critical theory.
